We are currently running classes on a Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon
(see table below for details)
No special clothing is required but a pair of slippery-soled shoes (ideally leather) will make things much easier.
Tango at its most basic is a walking dance. You will begin by learning to walk to the music and establish a connection with your partner.
Tango is an improvisational dance and the language of tango (the basic moves, techniques, connection, embrace and posture) can be learned so that you can communicate with tango dancers all over the world.

Milongas and Practicas

 

Milongas.

Usually  on the 3rd Saturday of the month we hold a Milonga at the Abercromby Lodge, 2 Union Street, Bridge of allan, FK9 4NS.  (Map)  The Milonga starts at 8.30pm and finishes at 11.30pm..  Entry cost is £5

 

Practicas

Practicas are held on a Sunday in the Scout Hall, Queen Street, Stirling, starting at 2.00pm and finishing at 4.00pm.  Cost is £3, which includes tea, coffee and biscuits. (map)
